The flashgun is an essential part of a photographers tool kit. We offer a range of flash repair services to ensure your flash is operating at peak brightness.
The hot shoe allows a flash to communicate with the camera and can be easily damaged. Regular removal and refitting or accidents can cause problems even if there’s no apparent damage.
We can remove and replace the hot shoe on most flashguns, from home user models to professional studio equipment.
Over time, a flashtubes performance will drop. Being used at maximum brightness will lead to gradual performance drops or catastrophic failure.
We can replace flashtubes which have been damaged or are not performing correctly. Then we’ll also ensure that your flash is operating correctly through our calibration service.
We can service and maintain studio flashguns. We can offer general service and maintenance, as well as component level repairs and calibration.
All mains powered equipment that we repair is PAT tested as part of the service before it is returned to you.
A flash is no use if it doesn’t go off at the right moment. We can recalibrate your flash to ensure it’s going off at the right time and for the correct shutter duration.
If you’re having any problem with your flashgun, we may be able to help. We can offer:
We also provide digital camera repair for all the leading brands, including Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic, Sony, Canon, and Pentax.
Whilst we aim to return most device within 14 days, there are times where high demand may delay this to 28 days or more, especially if we need to order in parts. Rest assured, we always try to return your pride and joy back to you as quickly as possible, without compromising our high servicing and repair standards.
We do offer Estimates suitable for Insurance purposes. We would require the flash for inspection and confirmation of the damage.
Inspection reports are chargeable, which would be deducted from the final repair cost should the repair be completed. The inspection fee must be paid before the inspection and covers the return carriage to you if the estimate is declined.
During the inspection, the Technician will inspect the flash and report his findings. We will then email a PDF copy of the inspection report to you, which is suitable for insurance purposes.
